Harper Supports Car Thieves
Yep, you read that right. Last week in the House Judiciary Committee, Crazy Jack said: “We shouldn’t go forward with clogging our prisons with property crimes…that sometimes could be accidental.”
He was referring to a proposal that would treat a person who keeps a rental car beyond the return date as one who has stolen the vehicle. If a driver doesn’t return a vehicle at the due date and avoids calls to return the vehicle, what would you call that driver? When this committee took the vote, Crazy Jack voted “no” on the proposal.
